To promote the professional and scientific work of members of the Division with an interest in people with physical health problems and disability
To foster effective clinical services to people with physical health problems and disability, their families and carers
To promote awareness of good clinical practice, current research, and service issues, through study days accessible to psychologists of all levels of experience
To provide an advice and support network which is easily accessible to individual psychologists working in the field of physical health and disability
To disseminate psychological knowledge about the needs of people with physical health problems and disability, and services required to meet their needs
To advise on training of psychologists at all levels and training of other professionals working with people with physical health problems and disability
To advise other relevant organisations/bodies about the psychological needs of people with physical health problems and disability and the services required to meet these needs
To advise the Society and Division on matters related to physical health and disability
To facilitate the development of local groups in pursuit of the aims of the Faculty
